These
terms and conditions apply to all contracts between you (the buyer) and
us (First Pasture). Placing an order constitutes acceptance of these
terms and conditions.
Contract
When you place an order to purchase a product from First Pasture, we
will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and containing
the details of your order. You will become the owner of the products you
have ordered when the products have been delivered to you.
Availability
We will make every reasonable effort to deliver the product you have
ordered within 28 days of the date of your order. All orders for products are subject to
availability and First Pasture reserves the right to refuse to supply an
individual or company. In the case where more than one book is ordered simultaneously
it is standard practice to despatch books at the same time. If one of
the books ordered is not currently in stock, the despatch of the other
book(s) will be delayed to enable your order to be despatched in
entirety.
Prices and Payment Details
Prices of books are shown within the online store. Delivery charges are
not included within the displayed prices.
Payment can be made online by credit & debit card, Paypal payments or by
post (cheque only - payable to 'First
Pasture' which should be sent to:

Special Order Surcharge
In some circumstances hard to find titles may have to be specially
ordered for you. In this case First Pasture adds a small order surcharge
of £1.99 per book. We have indicated next to individual books where this charge
is applicable. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of books classed
as Special Orders.
Price Increases
Publishers reserve the right to increase prices without prior
notification. We will automatically notify you by email should the price
of the product you have ordered increase.
Price Errors
Although we make every effort to ensure the prices on the website
are correct, mistakes can be made. If we discover an error in a product
price you have ordered, we will inform you and give you the option of
either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your
order. If we are unable to contact you or we receive no reply from you,
we will cancel your order.
Delivery Charges
We charge £2.99 postage & packaging for orders up to £24.99
and £3.99 for orders above £25. These charges relate to Standard Delivery. If you require
Premier Delivery (first class) please email us prior to ordering your
book. All deliveries to Channel Islands are £6.95 and to the
Scottish Islands and Isle of Man, £7.95 - payment via cheque only
please as the online
payment system is unable to process the extra P&P charge.
Overseas orders will be delivered by land & sea. Once your
book is available for despatch please allow 5-10 days (Western Europe),
12-15 days (USA) and 15-22 (rest of the world).
Despatch
First Pasture uses Royal Mail and DHL as the couriers.
We aim to despatch most books within one working day following receipt
of payment. Where this is not
possible, we shall advise you by email following receipt of your
order. If you wish to know the approximate despatch date prior to
ordering, please email us with the title of the book.
If you have not received your product after 28 days please email us.
Cancellation Rights
If you wish to cancel your order you must notify us within 7 working days after the date of
delivery. You must return the unwanted products to us unused and in
their original packaging at your own risk and at your cost within 21 days of delivery. You must also provide a reason for the return, contact
details and your order number. Provided you return the unwanted products
in good condition, we will refund you the cost of the unwanted product
and our delivery charges within 30 days of the date of
cancellation.
In the event of submitting online payment for a book(s) in which is
subsequently discovered to be unavailable/out of print, we will issue a
full refund.
Damaged Goods
If the products you return are incorrect, sub-standard or damaged in
transit to you, we will refund you the cost of the products, our
delivery charges and your reasonable costs for returning the product to
us. Please inform us within 2 working days of delivery and return the product to us within
14 days. You must provide details of how the product is damaged,
instructions whether you would like a refund or replacement and your
contact details and order number.
Severability
If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be
unenforceable as a matter of law, the enforceability of any other part
of these terms and conditions will not be affected.
Limitation of Liability
We will not be liable to you: for any loss of profit,
administration, inconvenience, disappointment or indirect or
consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem in relation to
the products you ordered which was not within our reasonable
contemplation as a probable result of a breach of contract on our part
at the time that our contract with you was concluded. Where performance
of any obligations to you is prevented, frustrated or impeded by any
circumstances or caused beyond our reasonable control.

Contracts formed between First Pasture and users as a result of using
this site shall be governed in all respects by English law and all such
users hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English
courts. These terms & conditions do not affect your statutory
rights.
