All advertisements must comply with the British Code of Advertising Practice i.e. legal, honest and decent and all other codes under the general supervision of the Advertising Standards Authority. Furthermore, advertisements must not contravene the Trade Descriptions Act 1968, Fair Trading Act 1973 and Business Advertisements (Disclosure) Order 1977, which requires that advertisements must differentiate between private and business use. Private advertisers must also display their price of item within their advertisement. It is the sole responsibility of the individual advertiser or agency to comply with the Code and Acts. First Pasture however reserves the right to amend or refuse to display any advertisement without liability which is not compliant with the stated requirements.
The advertiser, including any advertising agency involved in placing any advertisement, warrants that it has obtained all necessary consents and approvals for the inclusion of the advertisement and that it is compliant with the appropriate law. The advertiser agrees to indemnify First Pasture in respect of all costs, damages and other liability which may result from legal action or threatened legal action arising from the publication of the advertisement in accordance with the copy instructions supplied to First Pasture by or on behalf of the advertiser, whatever the nature of the said legal action.
First Pasture's liability for any loss or damage caused by any error in an advertisement or the timing of it's publication or by it's omission in error or any other breach of contract shall be limited to the cost of the advertisement or to the cost of the first advertisement in a series of advertisements. It is the advertisers responsibility to check the advertisement immediately as it appears on the website and to inform us of such error(s) right away. In the event of any error in the publishing of an advertisement, First Pasture will alter part or all of the advertisement. An error does not automatically constitute the right to a re-insertion i.e. a new advertisement. No re-insertion refund or adjustment to the cost of the advertisement will be made where the error, misprint or omission does not materially detract from the advertisement. Ultimately any refund is at the discretion of First Pasture.
First Pasture will check each advert that is submitted and ensure that they are correctly allocated. We reserve the right to amend the category to which ads are allocated.
First Pasture reserves the right to reject an advertisement or to vary it in any way we deem fit, at any time before publication, whether or not the advertisement has already been accepted for publication. In case of rejection any or all advertisement fees will be returned.
You accept that if we receive an instruction to cancel a customers advertisement, we are not liable or bound to offer or pay any refund if the advertisement does not run for the complete period paid for. Customers may amend their advertisement but only at the discretion of First Pasture however, new items cannot be added as this would constitute a new advertisement. Once an advertisement has been confirmed in writing (email or letter) by the advertiser and payment has been received, the customer has seven days in which to cancel their advertisement to receive a full refund. Any refunds after the seven day period are at the sole discretion of First Pasture.
First Pasture will endeavour to comply with advertisers requests, but we cannot guarantee publication on a particular date or for the advertisement to have a guaranteed position.
First Pasture accepts no liability for loss or damage caused by delay in forwarding or omission to forward to the advertiser replies to Box Numbers.
Advertising rates are published on the website. The rates may vary from time to time at First Pasture's discretion. Prior notice will be provided for any alteration.
You agree to pay the fees for the use of the website in accordance with the Fee Schedule / Advertisement Rates.
Photographs sent to us are done so at the individuals risk, we accept no responsibility for lost copies.
You accept that First Pasture disclaims all responsibility and liability (including negligence) in relation to any action you may or may not take in reliance on any information on this website. We accept no responsibility for the quality and condition of goods advertised on this website. The contract of sale is solely between the advertiser and recipient. First Pasture is not liable for any difficulties or disputes.
Although we are happy to accept child participation within the site, we shall not knowingly accept any advertisement from a child without written consent from a parent or guardian. You agree that it is the sole responsibility and liability of the legal guardian regarding their child's internet and email use. If improper contact is made to your child through the use of this site then please notify the police and ourselves immediately.
If you are underage you must ensure you have the full consent from your parent or legal guardian before submitting an advertisement.
Views expressed within this website are not necessarily those of First Pasture and to the extent permitted by law, we do not accept any responsibility for any statement in the material. First Pasture also does not recommend or endorse any specific product or procedure featured.
We are not responsible for any form of misrepresentation by our contributors. We cannot guarantee the authenticity and accuracy of every advertisement or all information.
You agree that although we endeavour to ensure the accuracy of market prices, we are not responsible for any errors either on the part of First Pasture or any other collecting body.
It is the responsibility of secretaries to notify us, or individuals to check with organisers directly, if an event which was published by First Pasture has been cancelled or incorrectly stated. We accept no responsibility for wasted journeys however unfortunate.
You grant First Pasture a world wide, royalty free, non exclusive perpetual licence to copy, modify, adapt and make available any material that you send to us.

If any part of these terms are held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, the validity of the remainder of these terms will not be affected. These user terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes arising here shall be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
